Anyone feel like they're vibrating? Only, if you hold up your hand, it's not shaking?

I get this and I was wondering if anyone knew if this is a lyme symptom. Sometimes it's in my arms and hands, but usually, it's in my chest (core) and right after I wake up from a nap. It goes away after a few minutes, but it's weird.

UPDATE:

I'm calling tomorrow about the Western Blot that I had done a week and a half ago, seeing as no one has contacted me. I'm worried and nervous. If this is it - that's nerve racking. If it's not - that's nerve racking. I'm stuck between lyme and a hard place.

Please pray for me.

I still get them to this day occassionally.

I had that when going through treatment. It was mostly a vibration in my head and neck. Enough to drive you crazy!

Western Blots normally take 3 wks....so be prepared. Of course, this one wasn't sent to Igenex, was it?

Other labs may do them more quickly.

Mine is worse when I'm really tired, had the insomnia thing, and trying to sleep after an unuaually busy day, then I get one of those explosions, a body jerk, and the vibrations calms down~~ hate it

Yeah, I get it when I'm herxing. It is mostly in my arms and hands.

Right now I'm doing a lot of exploring about whether I had Lyme before my July 04 tick bite. I remember now that I would occaisionally get a brief vibrating feeling inside my head from time to time going many years back.

Yes, I vibrate too....and it has always been at night right before falling asleep.

I've never turned the light on to see if I can see it on the surface, but I doubt that I could. It seems very internal....very fast and rapid. And it is in parts of my body too....like my chest and arms only...or my chest and foot and head only.

Strange stuff, but you are not alone....Tina

My vibrating is part of a set of sx that come and go together. I vibrate, get electric, picky shocks on the inside of my body and static electric shocks when I touch things.

Getting less with treatment.......

Hi : I get this all the time especially since I started on abx, this is one of the strangest symptoms, I never wanted to mention it to my doctor so I hid it because it was so weird, but when I got diagnosed with lyme I see its a symptom many people get, nice to know that so I don't feel weird.

Thank you MrsSAM

Yeah, I get it. It's inside my back it feels like. Don't have it hardly at all ,except during a flare up. Tell somebody that doesn't know about lyme, you'll get a wow look atleast...... but it's real. We know it!!!

Yes, I have had this on and off for several years, my entire neck/spine feel like they're vibrating, ususually when I go to bed at night and first thing in the morning (it wakes me up).

It went away for some time, but is now back for 3 months again, so I dont' know if it's to do with the antibiotics that it is bavk.

Yes. Particularly at night when I'm trying to sleep. I can feel it mostly in my chest and arms.

Yup. I was getting it when I was a few months into abx treatment.

Happens as I was waking up, then lasts a while thereafter. It feels as though my bed is shaking like a Maytag.

Yup...same as Tina and others...mostly after laying down to go to sleep. Left arm and face.

..also in the afternoon after staring at my work PC all day.

Definatly glad I'm not alone! I was a bit panicked about it...but now I'm just curious about how and why it happens!

Yes, I experienced the tremors inside my chest also while trying to sleep. I also get sharp pains deep inside my chest muscles (pecs), but I've written these things off as a Herx. Scary, huh?

Yes, I got it a lot when I was first diagnosed, particularly in my hands and arms. Still do, but a little less, on the relapse. Feels like when you shake your hands vigorously for 30 seconds, and then they tingle when you stop. Only my hands do it when they are at rest, doing nothing.

Weird, and a commonly-reported symptom.

Regards,
Shaz
