Does anyone know if taking oral oxygen products ie- "Homozon"(which is magnesium oxide and ozone together in a powder form) encourages the growth of Babesia?

Two years ago when I asked my LLMD if I could take an different oral oxygen product in liquid form, he said you better not b/c he didn't know what it was and said something to the affect that oxygen feeds babesia.

On friday I started taking a product called Homozon which oxides toxins in the gut and turns your stools to liquid to flush out toxins, since being on it I have had alot of new symptoms, which incidentally when I
looked them up, are symptoms of Babesia - stiff neck, shoulder and back and pain, night sweats, headpressure and aches, pains in thigh muscles, overall pain down the left side of my body.

Any thoughts would be appreciated
Lisa

Hello,

That has been the contraversy with HBOT and borrelia and Co. for quite some time now....

Lyme is anaerobic--which means it ain't fond of oxygen---and in essence---if you can guarantee that all your infections are anaerobic--HBOT could be very helpful

But Babs, and Erlichia, and Staph A( I believe so), and esp. Mycoplasmsas' are all aerobic---they love the oxygen, baby!! So do viruses, like CMV, HHV-6, EBV, ect.

Myco's are known to replicate at 1000 times the normal rate( which is fast and furious under any conditions) in an oxygen rich enviroment--and I ain't making this up!!!

I would listen to your doctor on this topic----and in the meantime---try to do some research for your self with regards to this subject matter--because there are people who swear this has helped them( I'm not trying to play the devils' advocate here, just trying to look at it from both sides!!)

Be an informed patient( and it's darn hard, cause the info is in short supply!!)
