I've was tickled only a few months ago, so I'm a Noob just the same my take so far:

My Lyme western blot came back all negative a week ago.

BUT:::: It was only a 10 band test and band 31, 34 were not given...........??? these are sopposed to be specific for Borrelia I believe, so what's wrong with this picture?

16 band test is the recommended one for lyme.

You may have the Babesia bacteria which has simular symptoms, but takes different testing for identification.

Number one reason would be "wrong lab"...two would be "incorrect interpretation."

Read this:

Western Blot explanation: http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/022767.html

Igenex labs tests for 3 strains of Lyme. Other labs test for one.

Do you have an LLMD interpreting the test?
