I have a small area on my belly above my waist (maybe 2 inches in diameter) that will spasm occasionally...especially during/after eating. Hasn't done it in a month or two, but it's back today.

Anyone else have this?

Had is the word.

I found taking vitamin b complex and mg and cq10 helped.

Bill,

I'm so glad you mentioned this. My spasms will migrate and don't occur on any schedule. I call it "the bugs". A patch or area on my back or chest mostly that feels as if the nerves are doing a bacon dance. Like the bugs are under my skin in that area.

I always have to tell the person I'm with (mostly my husband or doctor)when it's happening to help me not be paranoid... that it's happening and I'm feeling it.

I did have the stomach and actually feared (only because kids and lyme = hard to keep up) I may be pregnant--it's similarity to the flutters, bought the ept and everything.

I too take CoQ10, evening primrose and flaxseed omega 3 supplements. I had also experimented with a beverage called 'Xango' of the mangosteen fruit and thought that it really did have a system purifying effect. It's 2x the cost of a good bottle of wine, but it really is helpful.

Hi,

My spot started as a lipoma just below my rib cage. As the lipoma went away with treatment, it started fluttering/twitching. The lipoma is gone but now I get sharp stabbing cramps in that area that double me over.

Hi,

Twitching is a well known lyme symptom.

I've had my thumbs moving all by themselves in the past. The area of my lipoma twitched like crazy for a long time on and off. My eyelids twitched and then there are random areas that twitch.

To me, it sort of feels like what a horses skin does when it has a fly on it but more internal.

I get the occasional spasm, cramp, twitch & tremor at various locations of my body.

However, the one place where I am in CONSTANT spasm is my butt! (The spasming then clamps down on the nerves leadng to my legs which only adds to the misery of my neuropathy...)

When I was younger, 'healthier', and cared about my appearnce, I used to desire a 'tight butt' - but this is certainly NOT what I meant!!!!

I recently started having spasms on the right side of my abdomen, even with my navel.
I felt it and looked down, and could see it jumping, was really startled.

I was initially concerned since so many of us get paranoid about new symptoms, then realized it was probably no different than the fasiculations we get in our legs and thighs.

Actually, it felt just like a baby kicking. Since I am way past menopausal, thank goodness I didn't have to spend time thinking about that.

Bill, now you know what we feel like when the baby kicks a soccer ball in our stomach.

Seriously, does anyone think this is a problem? I was hoping to just add it to the list of bizarre symptoms.

One side of my face will twitch and spasm. It generally happens when I am tired or when I have to make an important presentation - just to tick me off (LOL).

Seriously, it comes and goes and is very annoying. I just had Novocaine for dental work and my whole face and head were dancing as it wore off. Freaked my dentist out a little bit. My aide called me a bobble head.
