Since Easter I have had to use Diflucan on and off because of thrush problems. I also take ketek, 400 mg once a day, 4 days on, 3 days off. I was improving before the thrush and diflucan. Now I am more tired and achey.

Background-Nov & Dec 2004-doxy 300-600 mg /day

January and half of Feb-babesia tx-zithromax and mepron

Since mid February-ketek, 400 mg once a day,pulsed 4 days on-3 off

I feel really terrible and discouraged-especially last 2-3 days- any ideas appreciated

thanks Janet

Don't laugh....but is IS full moon right now! That does affect us!

Also, you are probably suffering from candida die-off. What do you think??

I dunno- Really discouraged right now. Does Candida die-off make you achey all over and so tired?

My experience.............not saying it will work for you.

I took diflucan 200mg for 8 days then 100mg for 14 days and then 200mg for 8 days. I had minimal change in the thrush.......I was even using hydrogen peroxide to gargle and on my toothbrush.

This is what helped..........instead of taking one or two probiotics or acidophilus......I upped it to at least three of each spread out during the day.....great improvement. I am no longer on the diflucan just the probiotic/acidophilus. Also I am not currently on abx..........am giving it a rest.

I had headaches and some fatigue with diflucan but it improved over time.

Hi Janet
The candida die off will make you sicker
for awhile--No carb diet is a Must and
you will have to do it for a long time.
You can get much better.--Jay--

As pointed out; there is a die off that accompanies candida.

It's never fun. I've been going through it myself lately and basically slept 20 hours straight.

I forgot it was the full moon! Welp theres the reason for my pain. Thanks LT
