Has anyone experienced a rash of new moles? My LLMD said he's seen one case of this. I know that chronic Lyme can mess with your endocrine system, but this was very bizarre. Mostly on my shoulders, down my arms, but I have a few new ones on my earlobe and face. Very odd. Lyme related????

Are they the flesh-colored ones? I had one pop up on my face a few years ago, and it grew very fast. Had to have it removed. I have heard of others with this problem.

Yup, all of a sudden I had about 15 tiny ones appear on the neck, like overnight. I got them removed & tested. figured it must have been Lyme related.

Skin tags, yes. Moles, no.

Maybe that explains why in the last 5 years or so I have gotten many skin tags especially around the armpit area. Is there correlation between lyme and skin tags documented? I know lyme can cause all sorts of skin problems.

Are skin tags like dark flappy skin moles? I too noticed the last few years getting these all over my neck area.

Interesting thing several weeks ago when I started treating for parasites and then viruses they started drying up and falling off. Find that very interesting.

Skin Tags

Seborrhoeic keratosis

Molluscum contagiosum

I had some on my neck I believe it is associated to bug bites and lyme. Skin tags are made up of loosely arranged collagen fibres and blood vessels surrounded by a thickend or thinned-out epidermis.

I started getting skin tags after the birth of my children, which apparently is common. On my neck and under my arms.
I've read that they are associated with insulin resistance.

A couple years ago, I started getting small flat flesh colored moles on my face. Including one on the tip of my nose! Arrgghhh!

Carol in PA,

I had tons of moles appear on my face, arms, seemed like everywhere and some of them were quite large. My old doc said caused by old age. Another in a walk-in clinic said warts. On upper thigh near groin area, I had one almost 1/2" across.

When my lyme symptoms flare really bad, these spots swell/grow, sting/burn right down to the bone. At least that is how it feels to me. Also when I am out in sun and covered up with long sleeves, etc., and is quite hot, these spots also flare.

I wonder why? Anybody can quess?

Corinne

Corrine,
I've read that warts and moles can grow when your immune system isn't working as well. Warts are supposed to be caused by viruses, but I don't know about moles.
And skin tags are different.

I'm taking Saventaro (cat's claw) for my immune system, to help the white blood cells vanquish the spirochetes.
It would be nice if the moles went away, too.

Say, did you ever try the Serrapeptase?
Carol
