Which seems more effective for the Lyme
that comes from New England Ticks:
Doxycycline or Tetracycline?

My Dr. Started me on Doxycycline but
I noticed Tetracycline is very popular
especially for treating Lyme in
New England where I originally
contracted it.

Forgot to mention, I'm taking 200mg
Doxy twice a day.

Thanks

Tom,

Not sure why meds are regional. It may because of the lack of outdoor activity in the winter months. Allowing one to take Tetracycline safely.

I will say I have been on Tetracycline for 3 months at 750mg twice a day. It was without a doubt the worse 3 months of my life.

I am told by the docs they are excited with this response. I know I have a long road ahead. But I do have hope again.
