That business about 80% of patients have a bullseye rash is questionable. Since the bullseye is the only specific symptom and is part of the case definition, these cases get reported a lot. In other words, they have biased their results to show this symptom.
Plus, Al Steere and gang published a paper saying the bullseye was actually not the most common rash in lyme disease. So, the CDC apparently doesn't change their website info very often, or keep up with the med lit.
