Hi Lymers,

Just wondering if anyone has had increased success by increasing the number of shots of bicillin?? Just wondering if going from 2 shots a week to 3 would make a difference. I was put on probenecid.

Thnks,

CaliLymer

wondering the same thing. I just increased from (2) 1.2 million to (3) all at the same time. Is it o.k. to do them all at once or is there any benefit to spreading them out?

Too early to tell if there's any incremental benefit.

I am doing the opposite - pulsing the Bicillin. (2) 1.2 units every other week. So far, seems to be working. Took 5 weeks to see any benefit. May be too soon to tell.

Oh, was doing 2.4 once a week for 8 months before.

bicillin has a very long halflife. so spreading them is not as important is taking them at all once.

though, except for comfort and conveniance concern, it would be better spread them as to have a broader spectrum of killing power when the borrelia is multplying.

the higher dosages, 3 per week as oppossed to 2, will have a stronger effect, which should be self evident... especially if you herx hard!

About the only danger is very sore buttocks.

IV penicillin g, which is what Bicillin slowly becomes as it disolves, can be given up to 25m units a day. 40m+ is considered toxic.

There is no physical way one could inject enough Bicillin into muscle to reach overdose levels of penicillin g in the blood.

The biggest problem with more Bicillin is that it becomes hard on the muscle just due to the sheer quantity of material they must hold while it slowly dissolves over a couple of weeks.

If you want more effectiveness from the bicillin, try adding some artemisinin to your regimen in the afternoon or evening. (With your Dr's. approval of course.)

The combination surprisingly lethal to the spirochetes.
