does anybody know about this condition?

i always thought that the bloating i experience after eating and the IBS symptoms was due to candida overgrowth.

but when i was research flagyl i came across SIBO.

apparently, you can also get an overgrowth of bacteria in your small inestine (a place where it is not normaly found in high numbers).

i think i am gonna try an abx combo of flagyl and cipro and see what happens.

thanks
bill

I have not heard of this condition by that name. But I have heard of bad bacteria in the intestine I imagine that includes small. And I'm pretty sure I've had this though the condition didn't have a name. I took large doses of herbal antibiotics for weeks plus a lot of probiotics.

Wouldn't yeast also be found in the small intestine? What would keep it out?
