Does the test only show the L or cyst form? I'm waiting for the kit but I'm supposed to start Flagyl again. If it only tests for the L form I will wait to start the flagyl.

Thanks
Scott

If I remember correctly it tests for the L form. However, I called them last week before my blood was drawn and they said it didn't matter if I was taking abx. They do ask on the forms what abx you have taken in the past and present.

Hope you get the information that you need.

With Igenex, they put you on an antibiotic for the test to show positive. With Bowen, they are looking for the actual lyme and coinfections.

Also, when fluid is tested, say from the joint of your finger, they have had negatives. Best test around. Let us know what your tests say.

Your doctor will receive the results by fax withing 24 hrs. after your blood is received. Very fast and accurate.
