I have had Lyme for about 9 years now and like many others was misdiagnosed. I have been on and off I.V. antibiotics for three years now without much improvement and have estimated from my bills that I have infused over 700 vials of antibiotics-doxycycline,zithromax,rocephin and claforan.

Is there anyone out there that has had treatment with I.V. this long and if so how are you doing?

I don't know what to do anymore and the costs are staggering. Thanks!!!

Could you have something other than Lyme like a chronic viral infection? Also, have you been tested for the coinfections that I've heard sometimes go along with Lyme? None of the antibiotics that you mentioned are very effective at getting rid of the organisms that cause ehrlichia.

Wheres the coinfection medicine?

Mepron? Clindamycin? Rifampin? Levaquin? Cipro? Etc? I dont see any coinfection medicine mentioned in anything that you typed.

Could it BE that that is what is holding you back?
