I think that I need to be more positive. That is number one.
Here is a list of things I would love to do.
1. Go to Africa and feed the hungary and give them what I can for medical care.
2. Breed horses.
3. Visit a Rain Forest.
4. Get back into hiking and hike some of the applichian trail. Ony a part that is downhill.
5. Have some patio parties and invite all the lyme people that can come and we can dance all night to the old rock.
6. Do some more scuba diving.
7. Get a rescue greyhound dog.
8. Make some signs and protest lyme disease.
Making it known and more research for treatments.

Well how is that so far?
Thanks,
Suttles

Hi Suttles,

Great List! I love your optimism...It is contagious...

Hey, why wait - You could fulfill #7 if you are willing to drive to NC to adopt your greyhound...there were 59 found at this house that were not taken care of properly and they have been rescued. It is sad the original adoptees had good intentions but got in over their heads...

Anyway, they will be available for adoption soon...it was Orange County, NC if you are interested.

They did mention multiple tick bites and I of course cringed...thinking these poor dogs could be infected with lyme and coinfections...I am thinking about calling the shelter and letting them now that Babesia is down here and they should test them or even treat them...

Great list!

I have a friend who "adopted" a greyhound...you actually have to adopt them with strict rules; i.e. inspection of your home!, etc.

They love their dog...still trying to teach him how to climb stairs. He's a slow learner, it seems, so they carry him up...all 75 lbs of him!

He's beautiful and loving, so I can see how people would want to treasure them.

Anyway, you have a lot of upcoming projects, and I hope you have success with your total list.

Mine is to get back into running and exercising more. Fat chance!, but I'm leaving it on my list, anyway.

BTW, I'll be at your patio party!
