It's sad when I am happy to receive a positive test result but today I am thrilled.
I just received my results and they are:
Positive Serial Dilution Value: 1:16
If anyone could give me a quick explanation I would appreciate it. Is it safe to assume that my chances for recovery are better being in the middle instead of on the high end?
I have never tested positive before just 3 specific bands on the western blot a long time ago.
Thanks to eveyone on this board for steering me in the right direction.
Scott
Quick question...
Was that the only test you had from Bowen? If not.. what did the others say?
On my way out.. but that info should help others to help you!
Glad you finally have some answers. Chances for recovery just improved now that you know what you are dealing with.
We will hang with you.. not to worry.
I also had results that were negative for:
Babesia, Ehrlichia and Ecoli.
Thanks Again,
Scott
Now you know for sure you are fighting this disease. As you know, there are about 300 different types of lyme. Hang in there with your treatment. Pictures do not lie.
It is not always easy just to treat lyme if you do not have the co-infections. It still depends on the type you have. good luck to you and get well soon.
I would call that positive.
When I was really sick, I was 1:128, when I was under treatment, it went to 1:32, and I was feeling better. Not cured, but a lot better.
It went back up to 1:64 when I stopped treatment.
Being through this before allowed me to bypass the usual 15 doctor route but I have still been very sick and unable to work.
At this time I am probably back to 75% (40% one month ago) and treating aggresively with Flagyl and Zith (worked wonders last time)but I have to watch my liver so I will start to pulse the meds and add Rife as well as heat.
I've been seeing improvement gradually and hope to be back to work before the end of the month.
Best of luck to all,
Scott
