Hey folks,

I have not been able to say I had a good day in over 3 years. Well today that day has arrived.

I know my physician is somewhat controversial. Dr Donta's treatment is working for me.

Despite what the Globe's article said we in Massachusetts do have an a caring LLMD.

The issue is more his hospital affiliation. Boston Medical Center. The cities indigent care hospital.
He is not from Harvard Medical. Therefore he has little credibility here.

He had me on Tetracycline for 90 days. Switching be to Biaxin and Plaquenil 2 weeks ago. I do have diariah from time to time now.

He does allow supplements just not the B's and C's. His treatment seems to be working for me.

I do not feel like I have been beat with a baseball bat for the first time in months. I just feel blessed he is on my side. He has given me hope again. Something I gave up long ago.

Take care and Peace.

My husband went to Dr. Donta for a consult many years ago and his theory is that the supplements also "feed" the keets, making them "stronger" and harder to kill.

Could make sense !!!!

Good greif, my cabinet and fridge are full of supplements. I also would be interested in every body elses take on this, as they get pretty darn expensive.
I would also like to know which supplements you are on.

Hey there PRConn. That's great news. I'm so happy you're seeing some light at last. You have brain lesions, don't you? What about your treatment is different, in particular? (I'm not on any supplements either.) Curious...

despite my doctors theory I take supplements anyways because i feel better on them
magnesium and calcium are big ones as are herbal Cox -2 inhibitors( ant inflammatories), MSM, hyalauronic acid , liver support etc .
I dont feel as well without the supplements so i will continue taking them whether or not my doctor agrees , partially because so many other drs have differing viewpoints

Good days are so awesome. And then the bad days turn into what you use to call good days. It's so great to be on the mend.

Take care, Pam
