I have a question about ketek.Has anyone gotten a rash from it? I was on it for a sinus infection last year. i am seeing that now it is being used to treat lyme. I wasn't on any abx at the time for lyme, i was feeling pretty decent after a relapse of about 6 months.

Anyway, i went on the ketek, and got a bad rash AFTER stopping it. I was only on it for a day or so, becuase my sinuses were feeling better, and i was in the bathroom every 5 minutes with severe cramping.....miserable.

So now that i see it is being used for lyme, i wonder if i didn't have a small herx with the abx, or was it a reaction to the drug. The doc didn't think it was a reaction because it appeared after i stopped the meds.

The doc that i went to for the sinus and the rash was not my GP, so i didn't even tell him my thought about a herx.

Any thoughts? Thanks...jelly
 

I havent had any rashes or any other side effects with the drug.

Oh, and I like the nick jellyfish.
