Well, I finished prednisolone drops a week ago, and I have developed sores/boils/pimples on the inside of my nostrils, and two on the outside. They really hurt, my sinuses/ears/eyes/upper lips hurt.
I had something like this about 2 years ago, but not this bad. I feel like someone smashed in my nose, can't even wiggle by hand tip of my nose. I am wondering if this is b/c of ending prednisolone (steroid) drops for eyes, or could it be yeast. My tongue has been thick and white for about 2 months. Have been treating it (under tongue) with oil of oregano drops, very low carb diet, saline nasal spray, and scrubbing tongue with Mother Natures (smokers tooth powder) which contains baking soda, salt, sodium sylicony uminate, dextrose and potassium iodide. This powder really helped the yeast ontongue, I was amazed.
Unless I picked up some kind of virus working in hospital, that is a possibility. Or is this just lyme. Anyone have any ideas. I really appreciate hearing from anyone.
I just remembered my cat scratched lightly the inside of my right nostril (stretching to wake me up in the morning). I wonder if it's bartonella, although all other cuts/scratches have healed really quickly. Anyways, if it is not better by tomorrow after work, I will stop into clinic.

wonder if it's bartonella
steroids = lowered immune system
I have thought from time to time about having it removed, but just havent.
But sounds like maybe yeast stuff with the tongue involved.
Are you on ABX?
Trails
Sorry I haven't been on to thank you. I worked 4 days this week and travel 2 hrs each day to and from work (that's 2 hrs all together).
Kara, feels like boils, but they don't look like a boil, more like an infected pimple that throbs/stings and keeps me awake. The pain radiates out making my face/head hurt. The inside of mye ars also hurt, every so often sharp shooting pain or when I touch inside of ear it really hurts, but then 10 minutes later nothing.
I use the saline nasal spray, have been cleaning nose with peroxide and then some antiobiotic cream. Right side is better, left still stings and is sore to touch inside and hurts to push on end of nose outside. My tongue is not white anymore, when I eat certain foods, can be something like cooked green beans or carrots or eggs, my tongue stings and burns, and turns red. I noticed the palms of my hands are often red, and I am not cold or in the cold.
I do have reynold's (sp?), but usually only in the winter. Warm water also makes my hands feel like they are in boiling water.
Well, I tend to think it's the lyme gearing up now than I am off prednisolone. I look like hell, especially hair and eyes. It just seems that over a 24 hour period, like about every ten minutes my symptoms change, makes for a very aggravating and tiring and painful day.
I say to myself when going to bed I will call Dr. M and ask him to call pharmacy in Vancouver to ask why holdup for tinadazole, and then it seems that it takes all my brain power and energy to just to to work, etc. It seems I can only think or do what's just right in front of me, can't seem ti multi-task and remember more than one thing.
Have been reading so many posts tonight, so many many different symptoms. I think how do these people manage and then remember that I was once like that. I am moving in 2 weeks into Vancouver, need to take myself in hand. Will ask Dr. M about diflucan too. He gave me abx for liquid nystatin last year, but that didn't do anything, I actually think that it made the yeast worse.
Well, I am off to bed. I have enjoyed reading the humorous posts tonight.
