It's a shame Rochester didn't make the list. Specifically, the doctor's parking lot at Mayo's.

I think the docs at Mayo probably have Lyme themselves...that's why the can't comprehend, learn or retain anyyhing new in the past 2 decades....

(but I don't think Rochester is a county, or is it?)

"Rochester Man Corners Deer, Then Sits On It"

Rochester, Minn. (AP) A man cornered a deer that had wandered into downtown Rochester, Minn. Wednesday morning, sat on the animal and comforted it until animal control workers arrived.

Jack Holdridge, the kitchen manager at Hy-Vee South, had just delivered a catering order when he spotted the buck at 7:15 a.m. near the Mayo Clinic. He followed it and became its protector until Rochester Animal Control workers showed up.

Holdridge followed the deer into a corner at the Siebens Building, where he sat on top of it. After calling police on his cell phone, he talked to the deer and stroked its neck.

"I like animals, and I was worried about it going through traffic downtown," he said. "I knew it would get injured then."

The deer suffered some injuries, including a broken antler and multiple scrapes and cuts. Animal control workers planned to release the animal at Quarry Hill Nature Center.

I hope will bail me out when I get into trouble for redistributing this info ....but it was toooo fitting not to share after NP's comment...it didn't mention can't "copy and paste"

It is absolutely amazing to me how incredibly smart the ticks are! They know the county lines and stay within their "box"! I would really like to know how they figured this out and also I would love to talk to the ticks and learn how they know to stay within their bounderies!

What is more amazing is they tell you "with a positive test" that it can't be.....we don't have it here (Mayo included)
............Minnesota.....right!!!

We don't have it here...not in this county...

We only have a very high rate of MS........

Well, there's evidence posted above that proves the DEER don't know thier boundaries....so I guess the ticks just jump off at the boundary lines!

I have a funny Minnesota Lyme story.

At Jake's first appointment with his new endocrinologist, Jake told the doctor he has Lyme and Babesiosis. The doctor asked him if he had been to Africa!

But scarey, isn't it?

Maybe that endocrinologist should go to Africa and PRACTICE medicine....they'd probably send him packing, too, like to the nothpole or somewhere that there are NO diseases that he "doesn't" know about!!

You wonder...how do they make it thru med school, then to be a 'Specialist" at that, makes a person want to bang HIS head against the wall!

I hope Jake educated him or a least taught him a couple new words

OBTW...was the doc able to help him, or did Jake not even bother to stick around to see???
