It really kicked my itchy rash in the butt as well.
Now Im on the off week and wish I were still on it. I called my LLMD office to see if I should stay on it because I felt like it was really helping but they said "no" pulsing is the way to do it.
anyone know why? is it because it gives the body a break or is there some reason like it works better when pulsed?
just wondering.
thanx,

I thought I was the weird one on here, it must be the flagyl.
For me pulsing seems to work but only because I couldn't handle the herx after one week of flagyl and zith.
I do know that I got better 6 years ago pulsing flagyl and alternating zith and biaxin with it.
My opinion is that pulsing it limits the amount of cysts being opened and also gives the body a break from the meds.
I am off of all meds this week and doing rife which gives me a good herx but it's not as crushing as the herx from meds because I can control it. Just my opinion but I have found rifing to help me stay off the meds longer.
I also sit in my car with the windows up (poor mans sauna)and a couple of bottles of warm water (wish it was beer but not with flagyl) to sweat out my toxins. This works awesome but be careful if you try it.
Pulsing works for me.
Keep in touch,
Scott
Itching is a form of pain.
We pulse because the lyme reproduces every 28 days--so we are getting the new stuff and supposidly the old stuff too.
But I have been doing this since 2003--I'm much better--but don't want to make a crrer of this...

itching is a herx as is the joint pain
many people like the high dose antibiotic, sock it to them approach , but others find its too tough of the body so they pulse the meds to make it easier
you may find that if you try two weeks in a row it will super activate everything
