How likely is it to get only lyme disease from a tick? Could you get only a coinfection and not lyme.

Just wondering because test results aren't accurate.

Will a doc just treat on symptoms if testing done at reputable labs are not confirming a diagnosis?

thanks in advance, new and confused

Most LLMD's will treat for coinfections with or without a positive test because they can and are false negative often. Interesting question don't know I bet you could get bart or babs and not Lyme. I would still go to a LLMD they could diagnosis, treat by the symptoms.
