Go to www.vitacost.com and see about ordering Primal Defense by Garden of Life and PB8. I ordered both and WITH shipping the total was $42! Very cheap at this site....nearly half off!

You take both on a regular basis?

It's not easy to answer your question..

There was a huge discussion recently on another list regarding not only if the amount of CFUs (colony forming units) are actually in these products as they claim,
but additionally how many are actually viable when they finally hit the digestive tract.

Lots of differing opinions.

Primal Defense actually wrote a poster back, and mentions their product colonizes the intestinal tract very well (but didn't site any studies proving it).

Personally- I try to get the bacteria from fermented foods and yogurt.

Bpeck I was going to e-mail but you dont have an e-mail listed. We are in VT. wondering who your LLMD is.

My wife doesnt like yogurt so it has to be by pills.

Anyone drink flavored keifer? It has the sugar thing, bad, I know, but it has FOS and lotsa pro-biotics. I am drinking it now (not on ABX but have lingering yeast problems) and liking it, but afraid of the sugar thing.

Suggestions? Trails
P.S. I use PB 8 capsules, and I used to swear by them, but I am not so sure this year. Either I am having a hard time getting the yeast away or PB8 is not as good.

trails,

I drink the plain kefir, but sweeten it with a touch of stevia. And if I am feeling brave, 2 frozen raspberrys. No sugar that way.

My son and I take Douglas Laboratories Multi-Probiotic 4000 and drink Dannon's DanActive Immunity (at least one a day). Its a 3.3 oz "Probiotic cultured dairy drink with L.casei" On the bottle it says, "EAch bottle of DanActive contains 10 times more cultures than yogurt"

Has some sugars so too many of these may not be good for you. My son likes them and we haven't had any problems at all with yeast.

Well, I noticed what I though was the start of a yeast infection for me but I started drinking these drinks and it was gone within a day. No problems since for me and none at all for my son. Possibly the combination is working for us?

Sorry Wilson...just now saw this. I took PB8 for years and years and decided I probably needed change or addition. They say your body can get too used to one particular strain of acidophilus.
So now I'm taking both. At this price, it's not so bad!

Alot of folks on here swear by Primal Defense.
