Anyone have that sort of thing.
It is still weak and hurts if I try and do anything hard with it.
Thanks,Sue.
I always had these problems with Lyme.
Everytime I would do something as simple as carry in a bag of groceries, my arms would hurt like heck for two days.
I found that four Advil, heat, and two days or so of rest were always in order.
If it lasts longer than a couple days, I think I would call the doctor.
Hope you are feeling better soon!
Nancy
I have also had these kinds of pains for many years before Lyme treatment and after. Usually now more when I am herxing real bad. Some days I can't pick up a coffee cup.
Before being Dx with Lyme my GP Dr. thought I had tendinitis(sp) and put me on steroids for a week. It made the pain go away in my hand and arm, but the rest of me went downhill after that.
I do agree with Nancy... Take some pain meds, and take it easy. That always works for me. It happens more when I push myself.
Hope you feel better too
Lisi
It appears to have a mind of it's own which is a little disconcerting. It also flings stuff.
Avdil might help a little, I only take one at a time, for inflammation and try ice first if that hurts then try heat. Rest it as best you can.
I hope it feels better soon.
I iced a lot, took tylenol extra-strength and 1/2 a muscle relaxer.
As "tree" says, glucosamine may assist with the spasmodic episodes. I'm still very new with alternatives, but you start to try everything available after a time.
Much, much better now that I have been on abx! Still have the tingling and numbness early am.
Just wanted to validate you that this symptom has occurred to others.
