My glands in my throat and jaw have been swollen for nearly a year now, and it causes a lot of discomfort. Has anyone else had problems with swollen gladns over a really long period of time. Evry doctor I see, including my lyme doctor passes it over like its no big deal. Any advice??? Thanks

may have a fully loaded set of tonsils that may need to be removed. the tonsils are lymph nodes that filter all dead bacteria and eventually remove them from the body. they can become clogged and stop filtering them become infected. if you have tonsils or adenoids look down your throat in the mirror, if you see white spots on your tonsils then they are infected and need to come out. your white blood count should be slightly elevated also.

You may want to consider a Bartonella infection. Swollen glands are a major symptom of this disease.
Mine too were pretty consistantly swollen and sore for a long time until I was treated for Bart.

My thorat hasbeen sore for 18 months now - it comes and goes throughout treatments - But I also know I have 4 co-infections that they are working on getting gone - BABs Bart myco erhi - My tonsile have a couple of spts that come and go - only on small lymph gland in the neck that flares up on and off - I finally am on mino and I think we are getting to one of them finally - also the glands in my right groin bother me like you neck bothers you - My LLM is not concerned either due that my cbc ratio is ok - I can tell when eiter there is a die off or infection by the glands in my groin.

My glands were swollen for over a year too, neck, throat and under my arms. Stick with treatment and try some detoxing.
It gets better hang in there.

Perhaps a multi-enzyme formulation would help cleave and clear the build-up, thereby processing this stuff out, esp. if taken with anti-biotics.
