Thanks for your response. The condition is called hyponutremia. The hormone that holds onto your sodium is robbed and that causes a decrease in sodium resulting in disorientation, worse confusion than I am already in and if in the teens, can cause seizures (possible death, I've been told). I am restricted to 1 liter a day of fluid and take a sodium tablet. I have to get a medic alert bracelet done, because when I had my gall bladder out two weeks ago, I forgot to tell them, under the impression my doc did and I didn't, and got much fluid. I went to commit myself to psych ward, the anxiety, disorientation was so bad, the found my sodium level was down to 119. I was put in the hospital in january because it was 114. There are few causes of SIADH (the name of condition). One is hiv (I'm not Positive), one is ssri's (anti-depressants, which I was on) another is a cancerous chest tumor (my nephrologist wants me to take a chest x-ray to rule tht out). There was one other reason, I don't remember, but that was the reason for the sodium incident. So, lexapro that i was on for 6 mos was cut to 0 and am trying to find the light of day (now taking 5htp, natural seratonin). I might get off the mino for a while and see what the hell my mind and body are going to do. Sorry if this is lengthy, but this is the sodium deal...

I hope you feel well soon. We all deserve it.
