Hi. I was recently diagnosed with lyme. Had the typical bullseye rash...very large plus other classic symptoms.

We live in a development with lots of white tail deer. They come right up into our yard. Needless to say...we have ticks. I don't see them but know that they are out there. ( ie...I was bitten and so were some neighbors).

Over the weekend, my husband showed me a bit mark on his leg. Raised kind of like a mosquito bite...center is pink, outer area is white or skin tone and there is a definite outer ring of purple or darker red. To me...it looks like a bullseye.

Here the catch.....it is soooooo small. Probably the size of a pencil eraser or sweet pea. Its not raised like an eraser or pea...just the outer ring is the same size.

I've been searching all over the web trying to find out if this could be lyme.

It appeared on Sunday afternoon and faded in 24 hours. So, by the time we thought to take a picture..it doesn't show up really well.

I am going to watch it and take notice to any changes but what do you guys think.

Based on the size...I simply don't no.

thanks. Stacy

I would treat it and document it, pictures date time etc. Get your llmd to treat it for at least a month. Just my opinion.

I agree with treepatrol. Everyone will present differently and with the em-rash.. a lot of people won't have one.

Whether it dissipates or hangs out for 2-3 hrs, he should be treated. We are all individuals.

You both will be happy you got treatment early.
