Has anyone experienced fainting/blacking out due to Lyme or co-infections?

yes yes yes!!! This is a common symptom. Can

be scary! I had fainting spells all the time

for a few years before I started treatment. It

would come on suddenly and I would have to lie

down to get blood to head to prevent an

episode. I no longer get these thanks to

treatment. So many symptoms cleared

up that I forgot about. I still have some

really bad symptoms but it is amazing that

some of these have cleared up and I did not

realize it until seeing someone ask about

this.

Hypoglycemia and bowel IBS stuff seemed to

correlate with my fainting spells.

hope you get to feeling better soon

Yes, only while taking Mepron and Zithromax though. Still dont know exactly why it was happening. Babesia can create pretty bad dizzy spells and vertigo. It was very scary for me. I am glad it is not happening now. It stopped 2 weeks after I stopped taking mepron/zith. I am not treating right now b/c of that fainting. too dangerous for me.

Yes. I was tested on the tilt table and went right out. Seen in lots of Lyme and chronic fatigue. Autonomic dysfunction, POTS, neurocardiogenic syncope.

Mine improved with antibiotic treatment.

I used to faint a lot. You probably have CNS infection.

Get treated. Good luck.

Yep....make sure to be TREATED for babs [babesia] no matter what the test says.

Do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor, but I DID stay at a Holiday Inn Express!
