I was just put on Levaquin. One pill 400m a day. Just thought that was kind of low. Anyone else on Levaquin?? Whats your dose and what are you taking it with?

When I was on levaquin I took 500 mg/day along with mepron -2 tsp/day-, ketek 800 mg/day, bicillin la 1.2 mu twice a week, nystatin 6 tabs/day and prevacid 1 tab/day-don't remeber the milis of this one-.
I did this "fun stuff" for 4 months, not the best 4 months of my life but the levaquin really helped me on the cognitive area. No tendon damage but horrible bone/muscle leg pain for the first month; after that things got better.

Depends on weight levaquin buids up in your system watch for deep sore muscles and tendons tell LLMD as soon as that starts so you dont tear any ligamints or cartilege.

My LLMD rx'd 500mg once a day. I couldn't handle that much at one time so he changed it to 250mg bid. I tolerated it better that way

That's just what I meant. The herx was too intense. When I did it in divided doses, life was bearable
