I posted about this allready but I have an editors deadline to meet and I need someone to track down information to back up a statement saying positive lyme tests have a way of disappearing.

I found it in a book at the library about lyme disease that said to get copies of all your records because they had a habit of disappearing, especially any proof that you had lyme disease.

I need that book's name and author and maybe some people willing to let me quote them as saying they had records disappear.

I know it's scary to put yourself out there but if we don't no one will ever know what is happening to us. I am trying to fight back.

I also make reference to that guy that posted a while back from alaska who was thrown out of the free clinic for calling the dr a nazi record stealer. Does anyone remember this post and how I can get hold of him.

Tikbit,
Raskilnokov is the person who was thrown out of the clinic in Alaska.

Here is his profile, you can do a search for his posts. (Some of his old posts list his email.) http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ubbmisc.cgi?action=getbio&UserName=Raskilnokov

Hope this helps.
Carol

Hi,

I know of a duck here in Boise that sent a memo to the lab at one of our hospitals here telling them not to use IgeneX because it

was not a reputable Lab. He is one of the MANY that missed diagnosing my daughter with Lyme. I asked him to do a WB test on her

and he did another ELISA and sent it to Mayo after I gave him the information and asked specifically for a WB test and that it be

sent to IgeneX. I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but it sure doesn't make the ducks look very good.

Good luck with your article

This isn't going to help you because I don't have names or documentation but I have met at least 5 different Lyme patients over the years, in CT support groups, and CT and NY activist groups and rallies who told me in the course of conversation that Yale had lost their Lyme tests. They just could not get their results from Yale, no matter how hard they tried. I have never heard of anything like this trend with any other medical condition.
