Good for Senator Dodd! The bill has been moved to the right committee already. I haven't been able to get the full text as it wasn't available on the site below.

I am not getting any site when I try your link. Can you try it and see if something is left out......

Am anxious to see what is being proposed - is this a new bill to consider? I would love to attend/visit the committee when they bring it forward.

What I posted is all the info that is available just now. It takes them a little time to get the full text on the website.

Be sure you have it on the 109 Congress at top and put tick in the "word/phrase" search and you should get what I posted.

Interesting that Santorum is the one co-sponsor. I wonder if Arlen Specter (sp) would also co-sponsor.

I thought I saw something in my son's llmd office months ago about Arlen and lyme.

The text of the Senate bill is now posted. Just go to http://thomas.loc.gov/
put the word "Lyme" in the search box and hit search and you will find all three bills, 2 house and 1 senate.

If you click on any of them, you will get the text for that bill, and you can check the current status, cosponsors, etc. there too.

Sorry the site I gave in my first post didn't work. I found that the query ones last only a short while.

Does anyone know the approximate length of time it takes for health related bill proposals to move from committee to the floor for a vote?

How can we find out who else serves on this senate committee so we can write them?????

Has there ever been a federal lyme proposal before?

Years ago, lou reported, 23,000 people signed a lyme petition.........

and it seems our numbers were great for the New York effort months ago........

so our outpouring of emails and letters now could/should be even greater than the petitioners

What could we be doing now????
