Did/does anyone get the giggles, and can't stop? It has only happened a few times over the few years, but it can be embarrassing when somebody's trying to talk serious to you, and you just keep laughing.
Honestly, it's the best thing ever! Eyes crying...other people getting paranoid instead of me. Granddaughters loved it because it started a chain reaction, and then everyones giggling!
It's hard when you go to bed, and your s.o. is sleeping, and you start to giggle..I shake the whole damn bed! lymeloco

Mom does this sometimes. It's usually an allergic reaction for her (believe it or not) and we all just roll our eyes and say, "Uh oh, here we go again!" She truly cannot stop laughing and ends up short of breath and tears running down her cheeks...
Hey, as allergic reactions go, it's not half bad! Better than hives or something. BUT, it can go the other way, too - bananas make her cry!
I suspect that Lyme has played havoc with her wiring over the years...
Glad that you got to enjoy your herx! About time you got something good out of this, eh?

Laughing is suposed to be healthful. It releases endorphins into the blood, which I believe helps with stress.
Maybe uncontrollable giggling is our body's way of relieving stress. Just a theory. But we should do more.
