Any solutions to terrible pressure in ears. I feel like my head is going to blow off.
It's very similar to being on a airplane but worse. It feels like I am under water. I'm not sure if I'm going to throw up or pass out.
Anyone else have this? Search is not working.
I've read some people have "head pressure" but this feels like my blood pressure is in overdrive. I've checked my pressure when this happens and it's fine.
What's the cause of that? My doctor has no real answer.
Amyone experience that? It drives me nuts!

My main symptoms are head related. I experience exactly what you are describing along with vertigo, dizziness, imbalance.
My head feels inflammed constantly like the blood vessels or my brain is swollen all the time.
I too check my blood pressure thinking it must be high but it is always normal.
I have been on abx for 5 months and still have these symptoms most all the time.
I hope when I get to the abx for babs these symptoms will go away.

Yes- the ear thing..you are not alone..it is like the worst headache from the inside out and it feels to me like stuff is just going to come shooting out of my ears! I had about 4 of those that were just unbearabl. I get migraines too, and this is not like any headaches I have had..a lot of laying on the couch with ice packs..It was this type of headache that landed me in the ER on 7/14 to rule out a brain bleed (before I knew I had LD) Oh-and get this -a Walk-in Dr. I went to told me it was a "classic tension headache"- yeah right! Good news is, now on ABX, and they are lessening after 2 weeks...Good Luck to you!

I had very high ear pressure for 6 months. It gradually went away before I even got on antibiotics, but I can relate to how unpleasant it is.
I occasionally get it back when the weather changes. I can predict storms with my ear pressure! Hiker

Are your ear drums "retracted"? Mine are -- they're curving due to either changes in air pressure and/or buildup of fluid (due to small, scarred eustachian tubes). Sometimes this is painful, sometimes not. Although a bad case of this was in fact associated with my initial Lyme infection, I've reason to think this may not be Lyme-related. Decongestants don't always help, but sometimes a short course of -- dare I say it? -- Prednisone will break it up. However, 5 times (maybe 6, I lost count) I've had tubes in my ears -- yes, like little kids. And the relief is great.
