Ive had lyme going on 3 yrs...a year and a half undiagnosed...it sucks im 19 yrs old. got bad neuro symptoms...blah. I can relate with the eye thing though

I have blurred vision sometimes, but my main problem is with focusing. My weak eye wanders out to the corner and I have to work hard to get it back so I can see in proper focus. Reading gives me terrible headaches.

i have tons of "lyme" floaters that developed after i started abx treatment.
if i squint with a light backrond i can make out the shape of each one of them. it looks like looking into a microscope. totally freaked me out when it first started. used to it now. i didnt have the floaters until the 3rd day of my first antibiotic treatment. i think they went straight to my eyes as soon as i started taking antibiotics. the eyes are one of the most protected parts of the body they can invade. i have gotten somewhat better off antibiotics but floaters have gotten worse. no blurred vision on my end though.

I began with more floaters, then dry eyes upon awakening, then a conjunctivitis bilaterally that comes back despite several treatments with topical antibiotic eye drops.
My eye doc has given up treating it, which is fine cuz it doesn't hurt. I presume that with systemic therapy and eradication of Bb, the conjunctivitis will eventually go.
No styes (I think that is a more local bacterial infection)

Good idea to see a LLMD to get tested. I developed dry, sore eyes about 2+ years after my symptoms became prominent. I don't have floaters but my vision has also changed for the worse. I use OTC "Refresh Plus" drops but will be seeing an Opthamologist(sp) in a couple weeks to see about Restasis, a relatively new med to help with dry/sore eyes. Good luck,
