I am using two products that keep me in good shape inspite of using two ABX at the same time.
Furthermore, I am NOT on a very strict diet. From time to time I can afford real icecream, chocolate bar etc. I also eat daily bread made out of sourdough.
Trust me, I know what is Candida as I had almost died from it a few months ago.
I use Candida Stop one capsule with every meal and Primal Defense powder several times a day. This treatment is very effective and I recommend it to anybody who is struggling with Candida.
I don't have any profit or advantages by recommending you these products. I am just a patient who found this combination very effective and superior to Fluconazol/Nystatine treatment. I hope it will be useful to you too.

Hey Lymster...try www.vitacost.com It's awesome and has the cheapest prices I've ever seen. I buy Primal Defense caplets and PB8 there. Both together, WITH shipping is only $42!!
Areneli.....Do you know if the Primal Defense caplets are just as good as the powder? I didn't even know it came in powder form.
How does it taste? What do you mix it with?

I buy the stuff in a local store with herbs and supplements.
Powder is not tasty but you can get used to it. I think the powder is the best possible form as it starts working right from the top of your digestive tract. There is a little spoon included with a jar of the product and I take about half of it a few times a day. If my tongue is getting white I take more. If I risk sugar (such as ice creams ) I usually take some oil of oregano on the top of my regular treatment. Just to be sure. But at the beginning I stayed with anticandida diet religiously. I have relaxed the diet later but continue to watch the symptoms so I don't overdo it.
By the way, I didn't bother to remove my mercury filling and I am not going to. I think it would be excessive.

So you just put the powder on your tongue? I may just stick with the caplets! Thanks for the info!!

So you just put the powder on your tongue?
Not only that. I make sure that using my tongue I spread it evenly in my mouth.
Don't you know that only bitter medicine works? Besides it is not so bad.

could you tell me what your symptoms of yeast were? how did you differentiate them from lyme? thanks, pattiecake

Very legitimate question. I believe that many lyme patients suffer more from Candida than from Lyme Disease itself. Unfortunately many LLMDs still do not have a good understanding of Candida overgrowth with ABX.
Candida in my case showed as a white tongue, itchy butt, extreme fatigue, trouble with breathing, trouble with urinating, strange variable pains in abdomen, lumbar pain and sensory vibrations in hands and legs. Symptoms were related to my diet; got worse after starchy vegetables and improved after celery sticks or cucumbers. All symptoms started at the same time and were resolved with Candida treatment. At first I used fluconazol 200 mg per day and later switched to natural products.
My regular doctor was out on vacation at the time I got sick with Candida and had to convince a regular doctor in a walk in clinic that there is such a thing as Candida overgrowth. He was very reluctant but gave a prescription.

Areneli, Your post intrigued me. I too am wondering if my lyme has resurfaced again (had "successful treatment" after 10 years of undiagnosed lyme, now symptoms are back) or if it is yeast. I read the symptoms list and just can't figure out the difference between the two. My worst symptoms are twitching muscles, vibrations or pins and needle sensations in body, all especially at night, drives me crazy! Now, I am wondering which came first the chicken or the egg? Because I just read a study where a man took 200mg of diflucan for five months to treat LYME because it does something to the spirochetes (wish I saved the article!) and I'm wondering was he really treating chronic candida? Likewise, are you thinking the diflucan actually treated your candida which was the problem, or did it really treat your lyme?
As always, I am totally confused by the lyme war, and I'm mad as hell that these symptoms have returned and I have to figure it all out again.
Expect to see me posting a lot here! It is nice to have friends to go through this crap with.
Tell me your thoughts! I might repost this where you can see it in a new topic. Thanks!!

Twitching and needls? It is LD, not Candida.

Maybe I have been misunderstood.
With my method (lets call it Areneli's Candida Method because I have put it together) your diet can be pretty much normal, particularly once you have established certain balance in your guts.
I eat everything and lead quite normal life WITHOUT TORTURING MYSELF WITH DIETING.
This week I already have had regular ice creams and some of my favourite chocolates; in moderation of course, but I was very satisfied. I also wouldn't hesitate i somebody would treat me with a piece of pizza. Perhaps I would take a little more of supplements just to be sure, but I would certainly go for it. I eat dairy products daily, cheeses included.
But on daily basis I rather cook food that disagrees with Candida.
