Hey friends,

Until I ever figure how to sleep, because that would be the best energy boost I could use right now...can someone offer some suggestions to keep the body up and not fatigued all the time?

Are the IV mag/b drips good...or are there some daily supplementals that I'm missing?

BTW, someone here suggestion a chelation of mag/cal/and zinc (?) for sleeping, if anyone remembers where or what kind that combo was and how they took it, please forward. I can NOT find anything that gets me into deep sleep now.

Beyond exhausted, my shadow won't even follow me anymore!

Thanks and hugs for all,
JavaBeing

Mangosteen juice....BIGTime help with fatigue, pain, and brain fog! Xango, of course!

I've been intending to call you. Did you get another appointment with Dr C??

Do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor, but I DID stay at a Holiday Inn Express!
oops!

Can you exercise at all? That usually helps with my sleep.

Also, Dr. B recommends Pharmanex CoQ10 and CordyMax in his 2000 Treatment guidelines. My husband thinks they work well.

C0-Q10 (Don't take with Mepron)
Deficiencies have been related to poor function of the heart, limitations of stamina, and poor resistance to infections. Tissue biopsy studies have resulted in the recommendation that a patient with chronic Lyme should take between 200 and 300 mg daily of standard brands, or 90 mg daily of the pharmaceutical quality product marketed by Pharmanex, in two or three equal doses. Improvements do not begin for several weeks. The body will manufacture its own Co-Q 10 when the original infection is controlled, but only if stimulated by aggressive exercise. Therefore, use this supplement until you are feeling well and exercising regularly.
Pharmanex CoQ10 ($16.20) http://www.pharmanexusa.com/cgi-bin/pxweb/product/en/ns_productDetail.jsp?content_id=01003287&spons_ID=US0668509

CORDYCEPS
This well-known herb from Tibet has been shown in clinical studies to improve stamina, fatigue, energy, and to enhance lung and antioxidant function. It is the only compound known to raise Superoxide Dismutase activity. Although the use of this is optional, the effects can be so dramatic, I strongly urge all people with fatigue to use this, long term. Available from Pharmanex as "Cordy Max".

Cordy Max from Pharmanex ($24.70) http://www.pharmanexusa.com/cgi-bin/pxweb/product/en/ns_productDetail.jsp?content_id=01003441&spons_ID=US0668509

I sell Pharmanex products on the side, to help subsidize my Lyme drug habit :-) and I offer all Lymies the max discount of 20%, which you can get by entering the code 20ECOUP at checkout.

Thanks Kris for the info (and the discount code!) you're a sweetheart for letting us know about that. First...the COQ10, I have some store brand...other than that, I had NO idea of the amount or differences in quality. I've been only taking 50mg ONCE a day! To say that I am very happy that making such a easy change would help with this fatigue is an understatement.

Also the reminder of importance of going for quality here...as well as the CordyMax, I found I had written myself a note awhile back about that...and had forgotten why I had written it down! Many thanks again!!

Hiya Ms. Tutu! Thanks for the howdy and info...Okay girl,I think I'm ready for that Xango now(can I have mine with one of those paper umbrella's too?)AND have a tentative appt. with Dr. C....I'll email you regarding both! Happy to hear you're mending along!

Thanks you guys..

Hey everyone, excersize helps me with fatigue as much as anything I think, and healthy eating. I tried the Xango juice for a long time, it is expensive, anyway, I tried it and didn't give up on it for a while but I noticed nothing whatsoever. I would never spend the money for another bottle, but that is of course just my experience.

Regarding Xango, I'm now on my third case and want to share that it's done absolutely nothing for me. I won't be continuing it. I've been drinking 2oz twice a day, as recommended by the company.

I even had blood work recently, hoping it would have at least lowered my cholesterol, but it didn't do that either.

This is just my experience, which is disappointing at best. For those who are helped by it, I'm very happy for you.
