I used them for about 30 days. I have never been tested for heavy metals so I don't know if they worked for that or not (although their ingredients are pretty powerful), but it was worth it just for the sleep.

1) I have affiliate links on the site only to suppliers that I personally use to order the same products that I mention on the site. In other words, I order my stuff from Vitamin Shoppe, Vitacost, and Immune Support.com/ProHealth. So far, even with the affiliate links to these vendors, I have not received even enough to meet ther 25 dollar minimum to cut a check.

2) I am the webmaster for HealthMarvels.net because I believe in the product. I have spent 20-25 hours working on their web site for which I was given 200 free foot pads that I mailed out to my family and friends to try and get them to use them. I do make a small affiliate fee from the foot pads for referrals to their site, but that does not even come close to covering the amount I have spent on postage and Lyme Awareness bracelets this month as an example.

BTW, had I wanted to sell foot pads to make money, I would have been much better off just to sell them direct than to refer people to someone else.

3) I make nothing from Custom Probiotics, my favorte probiotic. Don't even get a discount.

4) I make nothing from the sauna people. Paid the exact same amount as linked on my page.

5) I just ran a report in my personal accounts to see what I had tied to the site and I am currently $1994 dollars in the hole. I have spent significant money on the hardware for the site to run on, postage, magnets, site cards that I sent to my key doctor's offices to give to their patients, T-shirts for family and friends to wear to start getting the word out, etc.

This is not a business for me. If the opportunity ever came up to be able to help people as I hope the site will and do that as more of a full-time focus, I would consider it, but that is not the goal of the site nor do I see that is likely to happen.

Everything I recommend is from what I believe and not at all from any financial motivation.

If you have specific questions beyond this, please let me know.

If you take SF734 which has bentonite clay in it at the same time as doxy, are you not concerned about it blocking the absorption of the meds???

also, you are taking the probiotics at the same time as your antibiotics. in this case, there is some concern that taking the doxy wipe out the probiotics taken simultaneously...

lastly, and this is the biggest contraindication that i see in your regimen: you are taking your LEF formula that contains Mg at the same time you take the doxy. Mg blocks doxy absorption - can't take Mg for two hours before AND two hours after the tetracycline drugs.
 

I noticed that you haver posted the bran names of your supplements but you have not posted the brand/manufacturer of your doxy.

If you are taking the pharmacys house brand of doxy, ask them to show you the bottle and inspect the label to see where it is manufactured.

The pharmacy should be able to give you the names of all of the pharm manufacturers of doxy that are available to them. Check them out, check to see if they subcontract their manufacturing to another company.
Also-tetras do not improve with age or exposure to extremes in temps.

I didn't see any antifungals in your protocol. Did I miss it? Nystatin is a very safe antifungal which does not leave the gut.

Antifungals are there. Caprylic Plus is a powerful anti-fungal. Also take garlic. Beyond that, I take several different probiotics including Florastor and Custom Probiotics. I also make my own yogurt.

I am not on an RX anti-fungals at this time though have been on both Nystatin and Diflucan at various times over the past several years.

Thanks for your comments. That is part of my goal in posting - to refine a protocol that will help my recovery.

I have not been concerned about the doxy and 734 together. My doctor told me to take them at the current dosages and times. However, your question is a good one, and I will ask him for more specifics on my next visit. He is a good LLMD and I think he will have a reasonable answer.

It is possible that the doxy and the probiotics may have some effect taken together. I have read about taking them at different times, but I have never seen anything that really proves it makes a difference. If I take them now and then take doxy two hours from now, it seems that it will wipe them out anyway, no? Would love more info on this if there has been any real research.

The mg question is also an intersting one. Of the list of things my doctor gave me to follow, there was no mention of not taking mag with doxy. I will do some further research on this and also discuss with my LLMD. Sounds like this may be a concern.

I spoke with my LLMD today and he confirmed that your recommendations are appropriate. He to take the Doxy 1 hour apart from Mg or SF734. So, I will start changing the schedule.

As for probiotics and antibiotics, he said it was academic. Agreed it was better, but didn't seem to have evidence to support significant difference taking them apart or together.
