I haven't had any problems yet, but I just started doing IM injections of B-12 3ml 3 times a week and have been told by 2 people that these injections can kill the muscle/nerves around the injection site after a while.
I have just been doing the injections for about 1 1/2 months, and switch thighs, areas on my thigh, and even sometimes give it in the hip.
Does anyone else know anything about IM B-12 injections causing muscle/nerve damage?
Thanks,
jloisu

I have been on IM 1000 2x a week for a year. This is the only thing that has tremendously reduced my headaches and improved my fatigue.
I take mine in the hip, switch sides, and I have not noticed any problems.

Been doing B-12 for about a week now. Started with every other day and have now gone to every day.
Thanks for the heads-up. I never heard of the damage to nerves or muscles. I'm sure any shot would cause some amount of "damage" to muscles, but seems it would be minor??

make sure you are taught how to properly inject! You have to inject in the correct spot on the upper outer buttocks, or thigh. be careful! you should not have nerve pain or damage at all. It can sting when you inject it, B-12 does that. Hope you are allright. :-)
I don't believe he damage the other two lymies were referring to were due to the injection, but instead due to damage that the cyancobalamin can do to the muscle/nerve at the injection point.
Lymetoo, how much B-12 are you doing?

Joe, I was wondering if that's what you meant.
I'm taking 1 cc per day now.
