Hey guys, Initially when i started to have symptoms, my right eye developed a tiny white spot, does any have this kind of experiences.. thanks for help -Mallasani

My mother who also has Lyme has had repeated corneal ulcers (about every 6 mos. for a couple of years)in one eye that started out as visible tiny white spots in the iris part of her eye. They were mildly irritating as white spots then would become more and more painful.
A corneal specialist treated them, ran every kind of culture to find the offending organism without success. She had absolutley no risk factors (Contact lenses, hot tub use, etc.). We believe it was Lyme related. He was not familiar with Lyme at all. They were treated successfully each time (one time it took 6 wks. of antibiotic and cortisone drops). Her Lyme doc put her on Rocephin IV for 8 wks. due to the eye problems and she hasn't had any since.
A couple of the episodes left some visible scarring on the cornea. She was very lucky they were not in her line of vision, and she is doing well now.
You should try to find a Lyme literate eye doc, but at least a corneal specialist or eye doc of some sort to get treatment right away if this might be the same thing.
