My tongue is coated white, very sore, dry also dry lips - cracking. My mouth hurts.
stopped using abx starting today on llmd advice. Taking dyflucan also oil of oregano and acidophilus from health food store.
Is there anything I can try to rinse the inside of my mouth with. Tried pure vinegar, and salt water, no success. Would a mouthful of bleach help (pure or diluted?).

I've heard that the bleach works for severe cases. BE SURE to find out exactly how to do it, and at what dilution!!!
You could also ask your dr for a script for Mycelex lozenges.

Here is the Yeast management info taken from Dr. Burrascano's Lyme Disease Treatment Guidelines
MANAGING YEAST OVERGROWTH
Many patients with chronic illnesses including Lyme Disease develop an overgrowth of yeast. A basic strategy to combat this is to eat a full container of sugar-free, non-fruit flavored yogurt that contains active cultures daily, and take acidophilus, two after each meal. Here are some other suggestions:
MOUTH: Yeast problems usually begin in the mouth, for when thrush is present, organisms may repeatedly pass down into the GI tract where they cause the most problems. A tongue with a beige coating, bad breath, and a bad taste in the mouth are signs of oral yeast. Patients should use a toothpaste that contains surfactants (detergent-like cleaning agents), and antiseptic mouthwashes (Scope, Listerine, etc.), and brush the teeth, tongue, gums, cheeks and the roof of the mouth while holding the mouthwash in the mouth.
The most effective treatment, employed as a last resort, consists of using ``Dakin's Solution'' as a mouth rinse. This is a mixture of household liquid bleach (Clorox), one teaspoon in four ounces of water. A small amount is held in the mouth while brushing, then spit out, and repeated until the thrush has cleared. This is usually a one-time treatment, but may have to be repeated every few weeks.
After using an antiseptic to clean the mouth, it is necessary to immediately eat yogurt or chew an acidophilus capsule to replenish the beneficial flora in the mouth. Because the germ count after such a cleaning will be artificially reduced, and because yeasts are opportunists, they would be the first to come back. By having the yogurt or acidophilus then, a more normal oral flora will result and thrush will be better controlled.
Since yeast germs feed on sugars and starches, avoid simple carbohydrates including sugars, starches, and some fruits. Refer to the diet outlined below.
Prescription medications may be necessary. Mycelex troches and Nystatin liquid are not the best choice, for they contain large amounts of simple sugars. Instead, Nystatin oral powder is preferred, as it does not contain sugar. It is mixed with water, and swished and swallowed four times daily. Systemic antifungals tablets (Diflucan, Lamisil, Nizoral) may be necessary.
INTESTINAL TRACT: An overgrowth of yeast here will ferment dietary sugars and starches, forming acids, gas, and alcohols. Symptoms include gas, heartburn and/or pain in the stomach area, and because of the alcohol, there can be headaches, dizziness, lightheadedness, wooziness and post-meal fatigue. To clear intestinal yeast, first the oral cavity must be cleared so yeast does not reenter the system with every swallow. Avoid sweets, starches, fruits and juices to starve the germs. Use PLAIN yogurt daily, and acidophilus, 2 capsules three times daily after meals. Systemic antifungal medications may be needed.
VAGINAL: An occasional vaginal yeast infection can be controlled with products such as Monistat cream or suppositories. If it is a recurrent or ongoing problem, then it often reflects a simultaneous intestinal infection, re-infecting the genital area with every bowel movement. Therefore follow the above protocol for intestinal overgrowth, and use topical preparations such as Monistat concurrently for up to two weeks.

I can tell you that the Dakin's solution (bleach) does work but it is not for the faint of heart!
It's extremely nasty in the mouth and you probably won't be able to hold it in there for very long but it will clear the oral thrush. (You may need to repeat it in a few days or a week, though).
Just make sure the first thing you eat after that is plain yogurt.

What works the best for me is that every time I brush my teeth, I swish with plain yogurt or Kefir. The high-sugar store brands are not recommended, but I have used the good organic vanilla which has a lot less sugar, when I can't find plain. *Bit*

I got bad oral thrush, and this is what I came up with. I slightly diluted grapefruit seed extract and swished it around in my mouth. I then waited a few minutes, for it to start killing the yeast. It did something, because the thrush would increase.
I would then open a caplet of probiotics on my tongue and squish them around. Let that just sit there like a paste, until I couldn't handle it anymore and rinsed with water.

Actually for the skin you can use Nizoral cream, and shampoo. That does help, as does nyst atin cream.

Aren't clear if the mixing solution for oral mouth wash is 4 to 1 bleach and water.
Is it 4 parts beach to one part water totaling 5 parts or three parts bleach to one part water totalling 4 parts. Will try today.
Mouth hurts. Tried pure vinegar mouth wash. Gums receeded so much they are white and I see the roots of my teeth.

For me, I just found the answer. I just started a product called Florastor. My tongue has been heavily coated for years despite diligent oral hygiene, Nystatin three times a day and Diflucan 200mg daily for two plus months.
I stopped Diflucan and Nystatin and started Florastor on Wednesday. By the weekend, my tongue showed substantial improvement and now I even wake up in the morning with a clear tongue.
There is still a little way back on my tongue, but the pink is starting to come through. I started with one capsule twice a day, and will soon try one per day. It was something like $23.00 or $24.oo at my LLMD. They have a website Florastor.com. I stopped my acidophilus at the same time to see what will work, one thing at a time. No antifungals are to be taken with this. Hope this helps.

I highly recommend using a good quality coconut oil. It contains an effective anti-fungal and has worked wonders for me. I swish it around my mouth often, and I also brush my teeth/tongue with it. You can also eat several tablespoons a day to combat candida generally.

I'm worried about Brighty. If she takes a mouthful of bleach, she will hurt herself. She has the proportions wrong.

Get acidophilus the type that is capsuls that can be pulled apart example clear capsuls not the correct stuff inside but clear capsul. Or chewable acidophilus tablets
Put either one in mouth and let melt dont swallow for a long time do that a few times a day it fixed it for me. Oh yeah same thing with yogurt keeping in mouth as long as possible befor swallowing. And NO sugars!
