I think a tick bite I got at Tanglewood may have infected me. I spent a summer there; I knew nothing about Lyme then, did no tick checks, and our conditions were spartan. I spent so much time in the grasses and brush and beautiful rural environment w/o ever knowing a thing about ticks.
It's awfully endemic out there....

I'm on the other side of the state.... but I sure hope folks will make the trip.
We will all spend a few days crashed afterward, but seeing so many sick and suffering people make the effort to get there will speak volumes to the Legislature.
If you're waffling, or on the fence, or waiting to see, please decide now.
It's so important now. We need EACH of you. I'll be with you in finding it hard to physically move to make the trip, as short as it is for me.

Please don't give up if you try to contact someone regarding a ride or other arrangements for the hearing and you don't get a reply.
Try another means of reaching the person or try to get a message sent through one of the other organizers for the hearing.

I just WISH I could be there. I just do not have the funds for a plane ticket right now.
I hope that those of you in a position to go are able to make a big impact!
