What fish oil is the best to take before Mepron?

How much do you take?

Do you get it from a health food store?

Dose it taste as bad as it sounds?

Thanks ImLymed

Hi, i can't answer some of those questions but I am taking CArlson Super Omega 3 Fish oil and I got it from a Whole Foods store. It smells a lot worse than it tastes! But you may get like an afterburp thing.

You can buy lemon-flavored gels, but I find them expensive.

We put ours in the freezer and that kills the bad smell and taste. I have to take them after eating a little or I get stomach freeze!

I find that the best one - absolutely no fishy aftertaste is:
Ethyl EPA (300 mg EPA / 200 mg DHA per softgel)
I get it from Vitamin Research Products - www.vrp.com

Hi ImLymed,

I take Arctic Omega, pharmaceutical grade and distilled. I get mine from a doctor. It has no bad taste or smell, it does have natural lemon oil in it though, so maybe that helps?

You can put the softgel in the freezer to test it, if the pill freezes it's bad.

I am supposed to take 2 caps with each meal, so far no afterburp thingy. [Big Grin]

I like Omega Brite. No fishy burps. Comes in capsules.

I didn't know I COULD take it before Malarone (contains the ingredient in Mepron). I know it's fat, but I didn't think it would dissolve quickly enough. [confused]

Hmm.
