I've had Lymes for years but the past year or so my skin has changed significantly. I get samll reddish or white bumps on my arms, especially around my elbows. They're not pimples but they hurt until I pop them. Once I do they will not heal! I've had some that have trying to heal for months now. Also, I may be paranoid, but it looks like multiple moles on my body have changed in color or shape. I was wondering if anyone has had skin problems. I don't know how seriously to take this since I have so many other problems with Lymes. The biggest problem is nothing wants to heal on my body. Minor cuts or sores end up leaving scars.

I know all about the skin problems you are experiencing. I have dry thin wrinkled older looking skin now. Yes, it seems that some of the moles I have had have changed in appearance. I have had little burns or cuts that would of normally healed leave scars and take a long time to heal. Got bad blisters a year ago from some shoes that were too tight and there is still a bright red area where the blisters were. Actually I think the healing might be getting better. I burned myself on the arm pretty bad and thought it would scar but it healed nicely. Skin problems are not uncommon with Lyme.

My skin had been pretty good and people used to compliment it; however, approx 3 yrs ago (prior to my recent yr of abx treatment)my mom said, "what happened to you, your skin looks terrible. I've never seen it look like that."
I would get the cysts too. I had a spot on my cheek from last Oct until this June? I mean it was a joke. Had small bumps all around hairline. Skin de-toxed with the product Xango. It did appear much healthier. I've not ordered it in a year, but should do that now that I may be tapering off abx soon.
