I started Tindimax and take doxy with it. I was treated 7 weeks for Bart and palpitations gotr much better, had normal pulse in 80 range. Stopped Bart meds, and started Tini and having severe fast pulse and chest pain. Only taking 250 mgs 3X daily, and cut back to 500 mgs for one day, but still have palps. Anyone herx this way? or is it possibly Bart relapse due to only 7 weeks treatment? Confused......

Can't answer your questions, but will note that I had a heart herx from zithromax IV. I definitely have heart involvement from lyme, and so when the herx hit, my heart went into a very frightening reaction. Later, evidently when kete load went down, this was not repeated on same drug.
It was clear, not hard to figure out for me, but so many things about symptoms are almost impossible to pin down. Is it a herx, a side effect, worsening of disease, a coinfection? Can drive you crazy trying to sort this out.

I've been on Tindimax for about 3 weeks and have noticed increased palpitations -- really getting on my nerves but they're lighter, or fainter than usual. But a LOT of them. I'm also doing ParaGone and had the impression that the heart stuff was from that -- possibly yeast die-off?
Didn't occur to me that it was the Tindimax. I'll know soon 'cause I'll be on the 5-day rest period for the ParaGone.
By the way, a woman I went to for Bio Energetic testing told me that a few years ago she totally got rid of Babesia with ParaGone. Said it took her 4 months.

I had heart herxes on Tinidazole. Increased heart rate, palpitations, and pain. I would back off the Tini when things got too bad, and the herx would get better, not just better, but better than before the Tini. Which is what convinced me it was doing me some good, not just causing a med reaction.

yes, could be a herx or could be bart relapse.
I had heart herxes on tini, and also on rocephin, zith and rifampin. I think my lyme is gone and I'm now dealing with what I think is bart. I still have heart palps- I think mine is bart.
I'm now taking a beta blocker for the heart herxes. It doesn't get rid of the palps just slows the heart rate- so gets rid of the racing and the palps seem easier to take when my heart beat is a little slower. The beta blocker I'm on is ok to take only as needed which is good.

I think you should call your doc if your having heart pain with the palps...
Also, if it is the bart effecting the heart... it might take longer than 7 weeks to get rid of it with an effective drug combo. Heart involvement takes longer.
