Hi -
I see things in here every now and then about no
sugar, no aspartame, no carbs, etc. Where are you people getting this info? I haven't been to my LLMD yet (2 weeks!) maybe she will give me all this info.... In the meantime, did you read a lyme book? Which one is the most helpful to you? Thanks!

Experience is the best teacher!!!!! [Smile] If you'll go to the left side of this screen, there are several book recommendations.

You will learn not to consume sugar once you're on abx and eating carbs and junk. It will come back to bite you in the butt! [Big Grin]

There is A lot to learn but you will get there.
Start wih reading the Newbie links above. (Look at the top of this list)

You need to follow a low carb/ low sugar diet.
You can do the one in the yeast book, body ecology diet, atkins's, etc.

A simple way to clean up your eating is to eat whole foods. Shop the outside grocery aisles.....Meat, veggies, healthy fats. NO BREAD, RICE, POTATOES, PASTA !! WHITE FOOD IS BAD.

Once on ABX you have to stay away from fruit because of the sugar. If it comes in abox it probably has junk in it you don'tneed/want in your body.

It is extremely important to take probiotics two hours away from ABX. Take at least 2x the dose on the bottle. Refrigerated types are best.

That's a start,
robi

Lymetoo and I have the same LLMD and he recommends the book(s) written by William G. Crook, M.D.

"The Yeast Connection" is one of the books and there are plenty others. Check them out at Amazon.com.

You see, having a "yeast" problem will result in the same symptoms as having Lyme Disease.

Plus, the spirochetes (Lyme bacteria), love sugar and feed off of it.

That's my simple explanation...you really can do yourself a big favor if you start reading more about the yeast connection.

Good luck
