I know this might be too personal...but I need to know if what I am experiencing could be from the Lyme.
I get a tingling or maybe pins/needles feeling down in my labia area. Has anyone else experienced this? I also get the same feeling down in my butt and down my legs. Is this a nerve problem?
ANYONE???
Thanks! Terri

Sounds like nerve pain. Do you have low back pain?

Nope, no night sweats or fever. I had chills maybe 2 nights in the past year, but it was when I got out of bed in the middle of the night and it was chilly with the A/C on.
Thanks for the replies.

Used to get this lots.
Sometimes it was due to the way I was sitting, cutting off circulation. But othertimes it would just happen.
Doesnt any more.
Dont know why.
Since all other parts tingle with lyme, why wouldnt that one? right? good luck, Trails

I have a lower backache from time to time, but I don't necessarily have it when I have this "tingle" down there. I can't decide how to describe it...tingle, pins/needles or a slight vibrating feeling. I just can't figure out what it exactly feels like.
I have had it in the past, but like VERY rare and thought maybe it was something to do with hormones or something.

I had vaginal burning for 3 months (before I knew I had lyme).
I did 3 courses of Monistat cream. Didn't help. I took two courses of an oral prescription medicine for yeast infections. Didn't help either.
At this point in time, I began to realize that lyme could be the cause of that burning, as well as my stomach burning, and my nerves burning most everywhere else on my body.
I believe that is the case.
It comes and goes now in the vaginal area....sometimes it burns in harmony with my left foot!
It's not as bad as when it first appeared. It's just annoying now. Someday I hope to quit burning, sparking, all over my body....

You might have Bartonella. I am experiencing the same thing except I get the tingling in my feet and my fingers. I also get pains in my legs that migrate from my upper thighs to my lower leg area. I just got tested for Bartonella and my Bartonella PCR is positive, which is very suspicious since they found it right in the bloodstream. Do you ever get pain on the sides of your thighs or pain in your pelvic area? They usually say that's a symptom of Bartonella.

Thanks Trails, I do think that sometimes it is due to the way I am sitting on the edge of my couch so I don't know if I am bugging a nerve and causing this, but like you said, alot of things tingle with Lyme, why not this one! Sigh, just one more thing to add to my list of symptoms.
Thanks, Terri

Thanks! It isn't a vaginal burning/yeast infection. It's not "up" there...it's just the labia...like the skin on the outside. ::blushing::
I hope we all get better! This is a really hard thing to go through.

So you are getting the tingles in the "girl parts" or you get them instead in the hands/feet?
I can't say that I get pain in the sides of my thigh or pain in my pelvic, as much as I have a sense of fullness in my pelvic area alot, but I also have Interstitial Cystitis and that can cause a full feeling in the pelvic as well as some pain.
