Just recently as the weather has started to get colder, my hands hurt so much more and I have found that I am losing quite a bit of dexterity ie trouble buttoning pants, clasping necklaces, using scissors. This is quite alarming as I have so many neuro issues as well as joint/muscle pain....Does anyone else have this trouble??? I feel like it is a neuro symptom but aggravated by the cold and compounded with the joint problems.

What I will never understand is why new symptoms still crop up even after a year of antibiotics!! Thanks for any feedback... Betsy

I'm having a heck of a time getting warm...no matter what I do. And like you, I also have joint pain in knee and in my hands.

On my last drs appointment, my LLMD gave me a lotion I'd never tried before: it's called Real Relief Lotion.

It's got glucosamine, MSM and arnica in it. I've been using it and feel it's really been helping.

I have NO idea, though, where you get this. It's put out by something called Real World Health.

It also seems to warm my joints, as well as helping the pain and increaseing my flexibility.

My daughter has numbness and loss of dexterity in her hands. I have more gross motor clumsiness.
Both are improving slowly with antibiotics.

Best Wishes,
Susan

That Real Relief sounds interesting! Then there's mangosteen juice, which could help your hands and your entire body.

My husband is sold on mangosteen juice...I just started taking it and praying for good results! So perhaps with the juice and Real Relief...might be a new weapon combo! Thanks! Betsy

Cool! I hope you bought Xango! You want the real deal, believe me.

Betsy, I saw your post headline and had to reply because "loss of dexterity of my hands" was the symptom that first drove me to seek medical help. But I got it in the heat of a midwest summer (July) and it lasted about one month. Also, my left hand became too weak to hold a paperback. It all went away but just wanted to let you know it was definitely a lyme thing for me.

I have the dexterity problem too, along with many neuro problems. What has helped me the most has been Dr. Barry Sears's fish oil. The pharmaceutical grade- omega zone. It really takes the pain and inflammation away, and gives back flexibility.

Lymetoo...yes he buys Xango by the case....I must say that after no sugar for a year, the first sips really had me puckering! I had to water it down a bit while I had the initial doses for a week. Now I am use to it....hoping for the best!

JS....glad it went away...that's encouraging news! I feel like nothing is ever going to go away for me...progress has been so slow but I stay encouraged by feedback such as yours. Thanks!

Lymie...I have never done the fish oil so I will certainly try it! Thanks!

Have a great week!
