Any input?

Waiting on more results now..igenex test for lyme positive, but docs seem to think that the black mold in our house brought out the lyme again...

The llmd and other docs said if we stay the lyme might never get better because the mold is weakening his immune system even more...

Absolutely correct! Glad you got out of that environment!

About the testing....I don't know. I think you should go by symptoms more than testing. I don't hold alot of faith in any kind of testing anymore!

Read up on candida-
Its perty easy to tell
if you have it--

Dose your stomic hurt?
Do you have gas?
Is your tongue white?
Do you itch?
Is your spit thick?

Candida can get very
bad-Dont let it-

A No Carb diet is the
Best thing you can do--
By far-

the- Yeast Connection- book
is a good book to read-
has good diet info-

Also Oil of orgeno is
a good yeast killer-
Its strong so start
off slow--Jay--

I think the tests are much more reliable than Lyme tests. If you have no antibodies and no shedding in a stool such as CDSA from Great Smokies, seems less likely to be a problem. That said, I'd always treat for yeast when on ABX anyway.

Which blood test was done?

A PCR blood test would only test for an actual yeast infection in the bloodstream which could kill you and you would probably be running a massive fever and be extremely sick.

A blood test for antibodies to yeast would be more likely to indicate if there was a candida infection in the G.I. although it might not really be that accurate as to how severe the problem was.

Stool tests from Great Smokies (CDSA -- comprehensive digestive stool analysis) have always been pretty reliable for hubby -- test usually reflects how symptomatic he is. Tests from other labs may not be as reliable -- I probably would not trust a hospital lab.

You might want to search here under the term "leaky gut". There have been some really good threads under that topic with lots of links.
