It seems we have a LOT of families here who all have lyme. Every year we have done a Green Santa operation where members are asked to send a shoebox of little stuff for a child and/or a medium gift. We know the financial burden these families must bear and it is such a nice way for us to show that we care.

If you are a registered member of this club, and
could use a bit of help with Christmas gifts for your kids you may send me a private message. Barb
has taken this on in the past, but I haven't seen her on of late.

Please tell me the age of the child, clothing size, and if he/she has any special interests.
Also the first name of your child.
Be sure to include your name and address!

We try to mail them soon after Thanksgiving so you will have a chance to wrap them! (They are mailed to parents)

If you would be willing to help out with this and brighten a child's Christmas..post here and let me know.

Nan,
Thanks so much for stepping up and getting this organized.
It seems like a very important thing, and I'm more than happy to participate.

I know how financially awful this disease is in my family, and there are just two of us. I can't imagine the constraints when whole families become infected.

Thanks so much for doing this!

[kiss]

Andie

Count me in. I always get such a positive feeling about myself when I give anonomously. I always put stuff into the "needy kids" box that we have at our post office every year.

Thank you all so much for offering to be a Green Santa!

Request, please!
If I contact you with the child/children you are shopping for, it would be a good idea that you let me know by PM that you received the name and have agreed to be a Santa.

If I don't hear, I'm worried that you may not have gotten my message and I don't want any of our kids left out!

Just click on the envelope above my first message to PM me. (private message) Thank you so much!

For those still waiting....sit tight...will be in touch soon!
