does anyone go to the Lyme Disease clinic at Rhode island Hospital and if so, what input can you give me?

Never heard of it ..... but usually any Lyme clinic associated with a hospital is going to give you max 90 days treatment ..... probably not even that. Find a real LLMD .... on recommended from someone on this board or a Lyme Disease support group in your area.

I have never been to this clinic, but I did have an mri and spect. scan done their. They were very accomodating, but like I said, I only went for tests.
I think recovery from Lyme is a very long process and except to get you some help from severe Lyme which needs accute involvement, I don't know that a clinic setting is the right place. I agree with others here that an LLMD is appropriate. Recovery from Lyme is a long, long process.

Being from RI, I've heard of it. I tried to get an appointment there but they require a written referral from your doctor. The clinic also has very limited hours - not sure but I think it was something like Tuesdays from 1-5. Doesn't seem like much time for seeing lyme patient in RI.
I also heard it wasn't very good but not sure where I heard it. When I asked about lyme doctors in RI no one from the clinics name ever came up. Most of the doctors that people mentioned were in MA or CT.
It's unforutunate that we don't have good lyme doctors in RI considering we are a very lymie state.
I would look eslewhere for an LLMD.
