I was just wondering what could be used on a 6 year old for detoxing? We do epsom salt baths already......

Her lyme herxing is pretty bad at times. Just wondered if there was something that was safe to give her.

Thanks!

What about the detox pads from HealthMarvels?

I don't feel quite as bad when I wake up if I sleep with them on my feet. I've only been using them for a couple of weeks so they're still turning black. They're supposed to lighten after a few weeks.

Try orange tiamentic--something in there helps keep you from retaining so much water and weirdly helps with the herx...

The foot patches can be used on children? And the orange tiamentic? I have never heard of that.

I was wondering about chlorella? Would that be safe for kids? Thanks!

You could write the guy at HealthMarvels and ask him about the foot pads and if they're safe for children.

I already emailed him and he said 2 years old and up...looked on the Kenrico site (the manufacturer) and they said children over 3 years old.

Gigi would know for sure about chlorella, but I think it is safe for kids. Also, you could try some detox teas. I like Yogi detox tea.

Chlorella is safe for children. I know many chlorella babies! They are the healthiest babies ever! My little granddaughter eats them like candy - and loves them. Get the stuff that tastes good. Biopure Chlorella is clean and Dr. K's own daughter is growing up with it ---

Research done in Japan with chlorella shows that children who get the Chlorella Growth Factor have no cavities and develop perfect dental arches. This type of research, sadly, is only possible in other countries; so it seems.

I am not sure about teas - unless advised by a knowledgable doctor.

Take care.

P.S. Just because it is good to know: I know of one six year old boy, the son of an MD, with a major ADD problem - who was normal and free of any problems after six months on chlorella. He had enough mercury in his body as if he had six amalgam fillings. Yet he never had a filling. His mother had many fillings while she was carrying him. It's not always just Lyme. But chlorella helps in all directions.

What would the dosage be for a six year old, about 48#? Thanks so much for your help.

Now to try to convince her to wear the foot patches to bed........ [bonk]

Orrn, are you asking me regarding Chlorella and how much to take. Start with one tablet and let her chew it. Be sure you get a good one. Some do not taste as sweet as Biopure and I don't think I would like to chew them. Work up to a little handful - my granddaughter eats them all the time ---- it is the most perfect food on this planet. So don't worry. If she is fine with one, two or three, let her decide. Usually kids know.

Mothers are making smoothies out of them for infants and mix them into sweet juice or banana;
anything that tastes good.

Take care.

To the Washingtonian:

You can get Biopure Chlorella, the cleanest and most watched chlorella (by Dr. K.) that I know at this moment, at Biopure 1-800-801-6187. They are in Bellevue, Wa. Where are you?

Take care.
