I took the advice of several here and went to a LLMD here in the Baltimore area. I am still on doxcy and now on Ceftin as well. Unfortunately I most likely have coinfections but won't have Igenex results until Dec 14. My killer headache/neckache subsided a bit but the muscle weakness/aches & fatigue have increased (also foot pain, eye floaters, and some breathing issues). I am sure everybody deals with this hodgepodge of symptoms and never knowing what you might wake up to find wrong with you!

JT,
Glad some folks were able to get you started off in right direction.
On your co-infections, please make sure your dr. writes on IGENEX'S special form that you want results FAXED PROMPTLY TO DRS. OFFICE and mail paper copy too.
My results were lost for 5 wks.; I had to pursue outcome! Best wishes.

So glad to hear you're in good hands now, Eco! May your recovery go smoothly. Expect the increases in symptoms with your increased meds. But hang with it -- it'll get better.
As Lyme patients who've usually had to research and research and essentially diagnose ourselves, it's a relief to finally be under care of a good LLMD and relax knowing someone finally knows what he/she is doing, as opposed to the usual ducks.
